Healthcare Providers

Dr. Mark Renzoni Dr. Mark Renzoni (with son and junior logo designer, Lucas) was born and raised in Toronto and presently lives in the Vaughan community with his wife and two children. He attended the University of Toronto and graduated with an Honors Bachelors of Science. As a student he was prominently involved in athletics, captaining his interfaculty Men's hockey team to the championship in his final year. In 1994 he was the recipient of a northern scientific training grant which enabled him to travel to Nunavut for the purpose of conducting archaeological excavations. Following university, he furthered his education at the Sutherland Chan School of massage therapy (1997) and Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (2003) where he was awarded the undergraduate admissions award. He completed an advanced acupuncture program in 2006 and is certified with the Acupuncture Council of Ontario.

Over the past years he has gained an invaluable amount of experience and knowledge within the health care field. Working as a registered massage therapist, chiropractor and acupuncture provider he has had an opportunity to work with a varied patient population. These experiences have assisted in establishing a firm understanding of the role of a healthcare provider in the treatment of neuromuscular conditions and overall patient interaction. As the founder of Health Matters it is my intention to provide the community of Vaughan with a competent and effective means of enhancing overall health through treatment, education and a positive therapeutic experience.

Dr. Michael Lehr Dr. Michael Lehr presently resides in North York. He attended the University of Toronto Scarborough and St. George campuses, and graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Science specializing in physical anthropology and zoology. As a student he was always involved in athletics, predominantly volleyball and dragon boating. He played for the Ontario Volleyball Association, and is currently the captain/coach of the Cyclones Competitive Dragon Boat Team. In 1993 he was the recipient of the Scarborough Recognition Award for Community Service, and in 1999 he was accepted to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, which is largely regarded as a worldwide leader in the training of chiropractors. He graduated from CMCC in 2003 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He also successfully completed the advanced clinical acupuncture program endorsed by the Acupuncture Council of Ontario in 2003, and readily uses acupuncture in his daily practice.

Dr. Lehr has always had a personal interest in rehabilitation, sports specific training and maintenance of health and wellness. He is currently practicing alongside his colleague Dr. Mark Renzoni at the Health Matters Chiropractic Centre at Vaughan Mills, as well as at a multidisciplinary health care centre, where he and a team of healthcare practitioners specialize in chronic pain therapy and automobile accident management and rehabilitation.
